Our Civil Engineering Department students Ahmet Yasin Özgülcan, Atakan Cem Doğan, Burak Çiftci and Harun Öztürk achieved great success under the leadership of their Project Advisor Prof. Dr. Baki Öztürk. The competition team proudly represented our University in the Earthquake Resistant Building Design (DASK2024) Competition, which was hosted by Gaziantep Hasan Kalyoncu University on 4-7 March 2024 and attended by 24 Universities from all over Türkiye.
Our team participated in the competition with their "Beytepe Hotel" Project and won the "Best Architecture Special Award" in the grand finale after months of effort. They set out with the motto, "Forward, to the Best, for Robust Buildings and Strong Tomorrows!"
